DESCRIPTION
In this project, we get to identify and analysis spatial order and spatial poetics of two given precedent study which is the Chang Jiang art museum and The Building on the Water in my group. We are to produce various visual diagrams that convey information and understand the design approach of the building.
KLANG SITE
ANALYSIS
DESCRIPTION
In this assignment, we get to conduct a site visit at Klang where we have to do our site analysis according to the perceptual dimension and choose 1 of 5 other dimensions (morphological, serial visual, social, functional, temporal). We are to produce our site analysis with consideration and understanding of the site to help us design the Klang community centre that response to site with its spatial layout, programmatic function, societal role and many more.
REFLECTION
Overall, the site visit at Klang is very enjoyable despite it was still under pedamic period. I like how we can walk slowly through the back alley in the site, the transparent quality of it very interested me. After having an intensive reading through the reading material that provided by our lecturer, I get to understand how the site provide cues to guide us what the site wants and have to offer.
